[December 26, 2025 Industry News] Recently, the China Rubber Industry Association organized an expert review meeting and project approval meeting for group standards. Four group standards, namely "High Temperature and Wear-Resistant Fabric Core Conveyor Belt", "Nuclear Power Plant Suspension Hose and Hose Assembly", "Flame-Retardant Interlocking V-Belt", and "Flame-Retardant Synchronous Belt", officially passed the review. In addition, four other group standards for rubber hoses and belts focusing on safety performance were successfully approved and included in the group standard project plan for the first half of 2026.
It is understood that the four standards that passed the review this time underwent multiple rounds of discussion and revision, and were drafted under the leadership of leading enterprises in the industry, fully combining current market demands and technological development levels. Among them, the "High Temperature and Wear-Resistant Fabric Core Conveyor Belt" addresses the pain points of high-temperature material transportation scenarios in industries such as steel and cement, optimizing the classification and testing methods of heat resistance performance levels, which will further improve the service life and safety of conveyor belts under high-temperature conditions; the "Nuclear Power Plant Suspension Hose and Hose Assembly" fills the gap in relevant product standards in the domestic nuclear power field, providing important technical support for the localization of nuclear power hoses.
The newly launched four standards focus on the safety upgrade of special scenarios, including Safety Performance Lead and Arsenic Content Requirements for Flame Retardantveyor Belts Used in Underground Coal Mines, Dynamic Test Method for the Durability of Conveyor Belt Joints, Mine-use Remote Water Supply Hose and H Assembly, and High Temperature Resistance Narrow V-belt, which are all dominated by industry backbone enterprises and plan to complete all compilation work before December 2026. The of these standards will further refine the safety indicators of special rubber hoses and belts, and standardize industry production and market order.
